Mea Culpa / Մեա Կուլպա
2015. The European Council determines to restore historical justice and return Armenia the territories seized by Turkey a hundred years ago. The hero of the play prepares his speech to appeal with at the international forum to gather for this issue. But during all the play something continually prevents the hero to finalize the speech. In the end all comes to absurdity: a tiger escaped from a zoo comes to the hero’s place, tears the speech motivating that no one really cares about a single word in that speech. Today the European Council needs something important. To find those important words, the tiger changes his appearance and appeals to the hero in the images of real historical figures: Nostradamus, Goethe, Napoleon, Churchill, Hitler, Ara the Beautiful and Tigran the Great.
The crazy night makes the hero grasp many things and give a meaning to this life.
